Sara Ali Khan is yet to make her Bollywood debut, but her career is already hounded with controversies. The aspiring actress is in trouble for having allotted her dates to Karan Johar’s ‘Simmba’, while her debut film, Abhishek Kapoor-directed ‘Kedarnath’, was battling a legal issue. Sara had given her nod to remain available for ‘Kedarnath’, but when the makers informed that the shoot will go on till July, Sara’s agency reportedly cited her unavailability as she will begin shooting for ‘Simmba’ from the month of June. This will overlap the dates for at least a month, which may not be possible for Sara. ‘Kedarnath’ was finally back on track after producer KriArj Entertainment made an exit and Ronnie Screwvala backed the film under his banner RSVP.
Abhishek Kapoor-headed Guy In The Sky Productions Pvt Ltd has moved the High Court (HC), accusing Sara Ali Khan of breach of agreement. It says that she signed up to remain available for the shoot of ‘Kedarnath’ but expressed her engagement with another film when asked for her dates, states a report on timesofindia.com. Abhishek has also named Sara’s agent and talent management company in the legal suit, to stop her from working in ‘Simmba’, during the dates already committed to ‘Kedarnath’. The filmmaker wants HC to direct Sara Ali Khan to complete her first commitment and has also demanded Rs 5 crore in damages. Apparently, it is being said that Sara and her father Saif Ali Khan visited Abhishek Kapoor’s office to sort out the date issues amicably.
