R Madhavan and Saif Ali Khan were set to reunite on the silver screen for Navdeep Singh’s historical drama, but Madhavan has quit the film due to health issues. Maddy, as he is fondly called in the entertainment industry, suffered a severe shoulder injury, following which he had to undergo surgery. The actor is now advised rest for two months owing to which Madhavan is forced to quit the project. In the meantime, Saif has already begun shooting for the yet untitled project in Rajasthan where he was recently joined by Kareena Kapoor Khan and Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi for holidays. The project will also feature a cameo by Sonakshi Sinha.
