Cricketer Zaheer Khan and Bollywood actress Sagarika Ghatge tied the knot in a low-key affair on November 23; a grand wedding reception to follow on Monday, November 27
Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan and Bollywood actress Sagarika Ghatge had a registered marriage on Thursday, November 23, at the former’s residence at Lower Parel in Mumbai. The newlyweds were decked in traditional outfits as they exchanged garlands. Although it was a low-key affair, the couple later hosted a cocktail party for close friends in the evening. The gathering saw the attendance from the cricket and film fraternity. Sachin Tendulkar with wife Anjali, Sagarika’s co-star from ‘Chak De! India’ film, Vidya Malavade, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh’s wife Hazel Keech, Akash Ambani and filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor with wife Pragya Yadav were in attendance to wish the couple the best. Zaheer and Sagarika will host a grand wedding reception on November 27 at the Taj Mahal Palace hotel in Mumbai. Zaheer and Sagarika had announced their engagement in April this year.
