Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao are down with swine flu and had to skip their Paani Foundation’s Satyamev Jayate Water Cup Awards event recently. However, the ‘Dangal’ actor requested Shah Rukh Khan to represent him at the event and the latter promptly agreed. Husband-wife duo Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao have been advised to stay at home for another week and hence could not move out for the annual function which was held in Pune. All smiles, Shah Rukh Khan made an appearance at the event to honour Aamir’s commitment and request at a short notice. Aamir and Kiran connected to the audience at the awards through video conference.
Aamir and Shah Rukh Khan may not be the best of friends but this gesture may cement their friendship more.
