Reminiscing her experience shooting for the upcoming Tamil film ‘VIP 2’, Kajol says that is was a very difficult decision for her to say yes to the movie
Kajol makes a comeback in Tamil films after two decades as she shot for ‘Velaiyilla Pattathari 2’, also known as ‘VIP 2’. It was a difficult decision to take up a film in another language for the 42-year-old actress. “I was very nervous before I accepted this film. It is very difficult to act and speak in another language,” says Kajol. The actress put in a lot of hard work to perfect her scenes. “It always felt like homework to me. Every night I would spend two hours after the shoot, working on my scenes. It was like going back to hostel and doing a lot of homework. But ‘VIP 2’ has been one of the most professional experiences for me. It broke a myth, a phobia, that I couldn’t speak or act in another language. It happened with a lot of help,” quips Kajol. It is almost after two years that Kajol will grace the silver screen again as she was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’ which released in 2015.
