While the celebrity actress remained unperturbed in the face of criticism, her ‘Padmavati’ director seems to be all tensed! Sanjay Leela Bhansali is reportedly worried that Deepika’s bold choice of posing for the camera may land his historic film in further controversy. Deepika Padukone plays Mewar queen Padmavati in the film and SLB is worried that this may welcome some unwanted criticism for his movie! Bhansali is afraid that Deepika’s recent photoshoot might cause more trouble for ‘Padmavati’, which is already surrounded with so much controversy.
Deepika Padukone-starrer ‘Padmavati’ can well be termed as the most troublesome project for Sanjay Leela Bhansali. First off, it was a massive task for the filmmaker to bring together his dream cast and so many celebs and cinema stars under one roof. He had to sort out a battle of pay cheques and screen space between his male leads Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. Having ironed out the problem to shoot with his choice of stars, Sanjay Leela Bhansali faced the ire of the mob when massive outdoor sets of ‘Padmavati’ were vandalised in Jaipur and Kolhapur. Now that things are finally moving ahead at different sets at Mumbai film studios, Sanjay Leela Bhansali wants all trouble to stay at bay, including Deepika Padukone’s latest photoshoot!
