Shraddha Kapoor on Saina Nehwal biopic: Most difficult film till date
Shraddha Kapoor has been signed on to do a biopic on badminton champion Saina Nehwal. Shraddha thinks that this biopic will be her most difficult film till date, which will be directed by Amol Gupte
Saina Nehwal is all set to be immortalised on the silver screen, with Shraddha Kapoor portraying the celebrity badminton ace in a biopic being made on the former. The Bollywood film is titled ‘Saina’ and Amol Gupte will be calling the shots for this biopic. Expressing her excitement for the film, Shraddha states, “Saina’s journey to the top has been fascinating and I am honoured to be given this opportunity to play her in my next film ‘Saina’. The preparation for this film is going to be very, very challenging. It’s probably going to be my most difficult film till date.” Director Amol Gupte will trace Saina Nehwal’s successful journey in this biopic, which will go on the floors by the end of this year. ‘Saina’ will be produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and will release sometime in 2018. Currently, Shraddha Kapoor is busy promoting her upcoming release ‘Half Girlfriend’ and is excited to start preparations for her character of a badminton player for the Saina Nehwal biopic.
