Akshay Kumar set to take on Shah Rukh Khan at the Box Office
With Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ to clash with Shah Rukh Khan featuring ‘The Ring’, Akki is sharpening his tools to take SRK head on at the Box Office
Akshay Kumar’s next, with an interesting title, ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ is set to release in August this year. The makers announced the release date of the unique love story for August 11, a date which has already been booked by Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma starrer and Imtiaz Ali directed untitled project. Imtiaz Ali’s romantic journey, tentatively titled ‘The Ring’, will also hit the screens on the same day and Box Office will witness yet another big clash after SRK’s ‘Raees’ clashed with Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Kaabil’. Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar’s ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ is a quirky film while ‘The Ring’ will explore SRK and Anushka’s romance in Prague. Although it may seem that Akki is gearing up for the clash between ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ and ‘The Ring’, it remains to be seen if Shah Rukh Khan will bow out of the race or not.
