Sabbir Khan of ‘Baaghi’ and ‘Munna Michael’ fame had stated in a tabloid today that he is working on the final script for ‘Dabangg 3’. However, producer Arbaaz Khan rubbished the story stating that Sabbir Khan was never contacted for the project at the first place! Clarifying on Twitter, Arbaaz wrote, “Sabbir khan was never approached to direct or write ‘Dabangg 3’. His statement in (tabloid) Mumbai Mirror is untrue and rubbish. Extremely disappointing.” Contrary to what Arbaaz revealed, Sabbir was quoted in the report stating, “I’ve started working on a plan for ‘Dabangg 3’ but I can’t say anything until the paperwork is finalised. I am in talks and am really happy that I was one of the directors selected to work on the final script.” Arbaaz termed that report as false.
Director Sabbir Khan had once stated that he was planning to write an ‘entertaining’ plot for Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan) for ‘Dabangg 3’, after returning from a vacation to London, Paris and Vienna. However, Arbaaz Khan’s one post has ended all possibilities of Sabbir directing Salman Khan in the third part of ‘Dabangg’. Celebs And Cinema had earlier reported that Salman had stated that Arbaaz will not be directing ‘Dabangg 3’, and that he was scouting for a director. But Sabbir certainly isn’t the one!
