After a hit like ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, director Shree Narayan Singh is gearing up to tackle a fresh issue, that of electricity. Buzz is that that the filmmaker is tweaking a few important scenes and giving the script of ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ final touches in order to make it on the lines of the quirky romance ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’. While the script of ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ is being rewritten, from being a comedy to a quirky film, Shree Narayan Singh is hopeful that his second Bollywood outing will be just as popular as the first one. ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ will feature Shahid Kapoor in the lead role while speculations are rife that the likes of Katrina Kaif and Shraddha Kapoor are being approached to play the female protagonist.
