Salman Khan’s fans have been eagerly waiting for ‘Tubelight’s’ trailer, which indeed looks promising! At the trailer launch of ‘Tubelight’, Salman Khan says, “‘Tubelight’ is really an emotional film. There is no hard work in this film like it was in ‘Sultan’ or ‘Tiger’. There is no jumping around or action either. But the emotional part was really draining.” Slipping into an emotional mood, Salman Khan remembered veteran actor Om Puri, whose last full-fledged onscreen work will be ‘Tubelight’. Om Puri passed away on January 6, 2017. “I have done a lot of work with Omji. One moment he was there and the second moment he was gone! Whenever I see the trailer or the song and I see Omji, it just kills me. I don’t actually enjoy watching the teaser or the song because we see him right there and one morning we hear that he is no more,” added Salman, why he doesn’t like to watch the trailer or teaser of ‘Tubelight’, during the media interaction to launch the ‘Tubelight’ trailer.

Directed by Kabir Khan, ‘Tubelight’ features real life brothers Salman and Sohail Khan as reel brothers, wherein Sohail goes to the war as part of the Indo-Chinese backdrop of the film. Speaking about his journey of working with Sohail, Salman shared, “We play brothers in the film. So every time there were twists and turns in the screenplay, it used to affect me. Had it been somebody else, and I being a very limited performer, it wouldn’t have had a huge problem because it was all fake. With Sohail, it became easy for me to act, but emotionally it was draining. Similarly, it was embarrassing while dubbing too.” Before the trailer launch of ‘Tubelight’ for the public, Salman Khan had tweeted, “‘Kar lo yakeen’, #TubelightTrailer will be here tonight at 8:59 pm.”
