After the big announcement of the leading lady Sara Ali Khan for ‘Simmba’, Sonu Sood is the latest addition to the film, putting an end to various rumours and speculations doing the rounds. Sonu will be essaying an important character in the film and it’s his first association with director Rohit Shetty. R Madhavan was to play the villain in Ranveer Singh’s cop drama, however due to an injury the actor had to opt out of the project. ‘Simmba’ marks the debut collaboration of Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar and also a fresh leading pair of Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan. Reliance Entertainment presents, Rohit Shetty Picturez and Dharma Productions, ‘Simmba’ is slated to release worldwide on 28th December.
