Priyanka Chopra to co-produce this Sanjay Leela Bhansali film

Priyanka Chopra returned to Mumbai this week and the actress has some big announcements in the pipeline! Celebs And Cinema had earlier informed how Priyanka was considering to sign on the dotted line to play Amrita Pritam in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious biopic on famed poet Sahir Ludhianvi. Latest buzz suggests that Priyanka Chopra will not just play the lead role in the film, reportedly titled ‘Gustakhiyan’, but also co-produce the flick along with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. If all goes well then this Sahir Ludhianvi biopic will be Priyanka’s maiden Hindi production, as she has already made Punjabi and Marathi films under her banner Purple Pebble Productions.
Priyanka Chopra seems keen to join hands with her ‘Bajirao Mastani’ director Sanjay Leela Bhansali to co-produce ‘Gustakhiyan’, but the lead man in this project is still not known. Bhansali has apparently been toying with the idea to cast A-list celebs and cinema stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Irrfan Khan in the role of Sahir Ludhianvi. An official confirmation is expected soon as Priyanka is back to the bay to make announcements about her next projects in Bollywood.
Priyanka is soon expected to fly out to the US as she will begin shooting for her second Hollywood movie ‘A Kid Like Jake’ as well as shoot for the third season of her TV show ‘Quantico’.
