Salman Khan Films and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions have announced their next Bollywood movie starring Akshay Kumar. The yet untitled Hindi project will be directed by Anurag Singh and will be a period drama based on the Battle of Saragarhi. With celebs and cinema world’s who’s who attached to this project, the film based on the Battle of Saragarhi is sure to garner a lot of curiosity. Akshay Kumar has a busy 2017 but Salman Khan and Karan Johar plan to release the film in 2018. Ironically, Salman’s good friend Ajay Devgn also had announced a similar film in July this year. Devgn’s film is titled ‘Son of Sardaar: The Battle of Saragarhi’. Ajay Devgn had said that he wants to release this sequel to ‘Son of Sardaar’ in Diwali 2017. But he has not yet begun shooting for the same. Hence it would be interesting to see if Devgn’s ‘Son of Sardaar: The Battle of Saragarhi’ and Karan Johar and Salman Khan’s Bollywood film based on the Battle of Saragarhi, starring Akshay Kumar, will clash or not.
