Since the stories of her popular TV shows were regularly being leaked on the Internet, Ekta Kapoor has banned the media altogether from the sets, albeit as a temporary measure
Ekta Kapoor recently took strict measures to ban the media on the sets of her popular TV shows, ‘Ye Hai Mohabbatein’, ‘Naagin 2’, ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’ and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’. Explaining the reason to do so, the head honcho of Balaji Telefilms says, “There were quite a few stories of my shows that were getting leaked regularly. We have put this ban in place for some time only. Please bear with us. We will try to allow the media soon on the sets.” This drastic step was taken in order to save the TRPs of her popular shows, at a point when footage from these TV serials was getting leaked online.
