Akshay Kumar’s special message to fans in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha
After releasing his upcoming film ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, Akshay Kumar will spread the social message of using washrooms instead of defecating in the open
Akshay Kumar enjoys huge fan following and the celebrity actor wants to give his fans a special message with his next, ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’. And to convey the same, Akki reveals the story of the film. Akshay states, “54 percent of people in India still don’t believe in using toilets, they rather enjoy it more under the open skies. But we have to change that. I believe that ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ is made in an entertaining way but will bring about a change in people’s thinking. ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ is about a lady who realises that where she is married, there is no toilet and hence she asks for divorce.” To get into the skin of the character and convey the social message across more efficiently, Akshay Kumar researched well on the subject and even met families where women felt humiliated because of having no toilets in their homes. ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ also stars Bhumi Pednekar and will hit the screens in June this year.
