Ajay Devgn ventures into regional cinema

Venturing into regional cinema, Ajay Devgn will make a Marathi film titled ‘Aapla Manus’, which will star Nana Patekar in the lead role

After many celebs and cinema star jumping in to make regional films, Ajay Devgn too has ventured into regional cinema and has announced his first Marathi film ‘Aapla Manus’. The film will star Ajay Devgn’s ‘Raajneeti’ co-star Nana Patekar, and Sumeet Raghavan and Irawati Harshe will be seen in important roles. ‘Aapla Manus’ will be directed by Satish Rajwade, who has worked on Marathi projects like ‘Ti Saddhya Kay Karte’ and ‘Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai 2’. As mentioned earlier, Ajay Devgn is not the only Bollywood actor to have tapped the regional chatter. Actors like Riteish Deshmukh, Priyanka Chopra and John Abraham too are wooing the Marathi audiences with their respective regional films. Apart from his Marathi debut, Ajay will soon be seen in Rajkumar Gupta’s ‘Raid’ alongside Ileana D’Cruz and will also reunite with Tabu for a love story.
