Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has finally given her nod to ‘Raat Aur Din’ remake and the actress will be directed by director duo Abbas and Mustan Burmawalla. As they are known for directing thriller films like ‘Baazigar’, ‘Humraaz’ and ‘Race’, production company Kriarj Entertainment has entrusted the responsibility to remake the classic cult to the men in white. Aishwarya will play a character who suffers from multiple personality disorder, which was portrayed by the late Nargis Dutt in the original film and won her a National Award in 1968. Apart from Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the ‘Raat Aur Din’ remake will also feature two male leads. Aishwarya is currently busy working on ‘Fanne Khan’, which stars Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.

Interestingly, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has allegedly demanded a whopping Rs 10 crore for the ‘Raat Aur Din’ remake, which the makers have indeed honoured. A source informed mid-day.com, “The film will require extensive preparations. It will be a time-consuming project, which means she will have to let go of the other films that may come her way. The fee she has quoted is fair. The producers have agreed to the amount without any negotiation. Since Aishwarya has wrapped up her parts for ‘Fanne Khan’, she will start prepping for ‘Raat Aur Din’ remake soon.”
